Maldon Town Council has been awarded the status of a
Sunday, 4th July was quite a busy day as the District Council invited me to the Classic Car display on the Prom which started at 10.00 a.m. What a superb collection of cars (and what knowledgeable owners). It was a pleasure to walk around and meet so many of them. Whilst there, we also went down to see the Bikes & Barges event on the Hythe, which was organised to raise money for SWANS. We finally tore ourselves away at about 2.30 and then went on to the Party on the Farm – the final event in this year’s Festival of Arts. What could be nicer than sitting under a shady tree on a hot summer’s afternoon, listening to music?
