Maldon Town Council has been awarded the status of a
Wednesday 4th May 2011 was our Bollywood Evening arranged by our good friend,Foyaj Miah of Curry Nights Restaurant.
Although the musicians turned up as planned, unfortunately the dancers were unable to make it as their car was involved in an accident - fortunately, no-one was hurt, but it was a bit of a disappointment. However, our grand-daughter Sophie and her friend Jess were persuaded up on stage and did their best to dance in "Bollywood" style.
Also a number of the guests joined in and everyone seemed to have a good time. Lyn and quite a few of the other guests wore saris or salwar suits for the evening so it was a pretty colourful affair!
