The Town Mayor and Cllr. Pearlman were interviewed about street lighting for an item on the evening news bulletin on Wednesday, 21st March, 2012.
The Town Mayor had the pleasure of meeting his fellow business associates for a social evening held at the OAKhouse on Monday, 19th March, 2012.
Events to be attended by Maldon Town Mayor during March are as follows:
The Belarusian Ambassador and First Secretary attended an exhibition of Belarusian clothes displayed in the Moot Hall and organised by District Cllr. Russell Porter who is forming links with Brest in Belarus.
The Town Mayor attended a Maldon Twinning Association meeting on Tuesday, 13th March, 2012.
Friday, 9th March, 2012 - The Town Mayor and Mayoress had a most enjoyable evening in the exquisite surroundings of the historic library, which has a magnificent vaulted roof, in the Town Hall Colchester. The excellent speaker for the evening was the new Commander of the Colchester Garrison.
The Deputy Town Mayor and Mayoress attended the Sea Cadets presentation evening where the Maldon group were pleased to be awarded the McBeath Trophy for the work which they have undertaken throughout the year. This was the first time in 15 years that the trophy has been awarded to Maldon.
The Town Mayor was interviewed on the subject of street lighting for the Sunday Politics Show.
Sunday, 4th March, 2012 - A service and celebration of the Maldon Methodist Church’s 150th Anniversary in Maldon and it was enjoyed by the whole congregation. A delicious traditional Sunday lunch followed the service.
The Town Mayor attended the Official Opening of the Hive Exhibition at the Maeldune Centre on Thursday, 1st March, 2012. An interesting display of local crafts and pictures.
